'The Sundanese of West Java are expert soundmakers. Other than peppering their rice paddies with huge buzzing windmills to entertain the rice goddess, folks in these parts also enjoy experimenting with other soundmakers - here’s a water-driven drum machine with spinning sticks smacking out a rhythm on biscuit tins and a tube of bamboo. Found in the countryside in Ciater, West Java.'
